Smart metre

Well we're doing our bit to save the planet and am now able to see how much electricity we use in our house by seeing exactly how much power we use and more importantly how much that costs. By having a display in our kitchen we're able to see up to the second what's being used in the house. With no lights and just the fridge and my bedside radio turn on electricity costs .6pence per hour, however turn on the kettle and you can see how it affects the costs. Three halogen bulbs costs a little more to run than 8 low energy bulbs!
